A pixel caterpillar that lives on the $GRUB chart. Feed it and it becomes a Moon Moth. Starve it and… well.

A DexScreener or pump.fun link works too.

Every segment is one hour of the chart.

Grub's body is the coin's latest hourly candles, newest right behind the head. When a new hour opens, Grub grows a segment at the neck and the oldest one drops off the tail.

Rendered with sample candles by the same engine that draws the live pet.
  1. Green segment

That hour closed higher than it opened.

  2. Red segment

    That hour closed lower.

  3. Size

Bigger moves make fatter segments, from 6 to 12 pixels.

  4. Hairs

The little spikes on top are the candle's upper wick.

Right now on Solana

Each of these Grubs runs on live DexScreener and GeckoTerminal data. Some are fresh pump.fun listings, some are old giants.

Fresh coins come from DexScreener's newest Solana listings. A listing here is not an endorsement.

Market cap decides what Grub becomes.

Six stages on one leaf. Past $1M the caterpillar turns into a Moon Moth and flies at the moon in the sky.

Specimen No. 0: Egg

Habitat: Before launch

Sits on the leaf and rocks. Now and then a crack runs across the shell.

Specimen No. 1: Hatchling

Habitat: Under $10K

Four segments and a head too big for them.

Specimen No. 2: Grub

Habitat: $10K-$50K

Eight segments. Crawls the full width of the leaf.

Specimen No. 3: Fat Grub

Habitat: $50K-$250K

Fourteen chunky segments, the last fourteen hours of the chart.

Specimen No. 4: Cocoon

Habitat: $250K-$1M

Striped in the latest candles. It pulses with volume and its eyes peek through a slit.

Specimen No. 5: Moon Moth

Habitat: $1M and up

Wings patterned with candles. It flies toward the moon in the sky.

To the moon. Literally.

The moon in the scene grows as the cap climbs toward $1M. Cross it and the cocoon splits, the moth unfolds its candle wings and heads for the moon.

Fall back under a stage and Grub reverses the trip the clumsy way. The moth squeezes back into its cocoon, the cocoon cracks, and a caterpillar climbs out looking embarrassed.

Sample chart. On the live site the stage follows the real market cap.

Eight moods, all from the last hour

Grub checks the coin every 15 seconds. The first rule that matches wins, top to bottom. A mood holds for at least a minute and needs a 2% margin to end, so Grub never flickers between two moods.

Every poll compares the last five minutes of trades with the poll before.

Buys fall from the sky.

A new buy drops a green candle and Grub runs over to eat it, up to ten per poll. A new sell drops a red one. Grub dodges, but a big dump lands a few hits and you see it wince.

Tap Grub any time to pet it. It curls up and hearts float off.

Every coin can have one

A sample coin goes from pasted address to hatched Grub to share card in nine seconds.
  1. Hatch

Paste a mint address. Grub reads that coin's chart and plants its ticker on a little flag.

  2. Share

One tap writes the post for X with a card of the pet in its current mood.

  3. Embed

Copy one iframe line. The 320 by 204 widget updates itself and links back here.

  4. Hatch

That widget is live: $BONK's Grub, running on its real chart inside an iframe.
